How to Use Second Chance to Live
Hello friend and welcome to Second Chance to Live. I am happy to see that you decided to stop by to visit with me. If this is your first visit time or you are a frequent visitor of Second Chance to Live let me say that I am happy to have you around my table. You are always welcome and your presence matters to me.
As you may know, I created Second Chance to Live on February 6, 2007, in response to the encouragement of friends. My friends encouraged me to share from my experience, strength and hope. With their encouragement, I started to write and publish articles from The Power of Identification .
HOW I DESIGN ARTICLES FOR SECOND CHANCE TO LIVE
Consequently, the format that I use in my articles is to first share a personal experience that I encountered as a brain injury survivor. In the second part of my article I share how I addressed and handled the experience. In the final part of the article I encourage the reader to apply the principle and strategies.
The goal of each article is to share a message of encouragement, motivation, empowerment and hope with my visitors from a position of identification.

A GUIDE TO READING ARTICLES FROM SECOND CHANCE TO LIVE
Many of the articles that I write are lengthy. Because of their length, I made the decision to divide the article (s) into parts. By breaking the articles into parts, I have found that reading the entire article is more manageable.
Please note that each part of the article contains information that gives clarity to the preceding and the continuing parts of the article. That is why I encourage my readers to read each part of the article — from the beginning and to the end of the article.
Because many of my articles are divided up into parts I create links to the various parts of the article (s). By creating links, I create convenience and accessibility to the whole article. These links are placed at the bottom and also at the top of each part of the article — with the encouragement, “Please read the next or previous parts of the article”.
A link to the Part is usually in bold print with a purple or blue color. The link allows the reader to have easy access to each Part of the article — simply by left click one time on the bold purple or blue link. By doing so you will be taken to the desired part of the article.
In some of my articles I also include links to articles that I have previously written for Second Chance to Live. Many times I will say, “please read my article” and then cite the article by placing the title in Bold print with a blue or purple color font link. Simply click on the link 1 time you will be taken to that article.
The reason why I encourage my readers to read these previous articles is to gain a greater understanding into what I am writing about in the current article.
Once you have finished reading the linked article, simply use your back back “ < ” sign at the left upper corner of your computer and you will be taken back to the part of the article that you had been reading.
