You may be lying in a hospital bed with thoughts of dread swirling in your head my friend. You may doubt life itself. Some of your “friends” may have deserted you. You may be angry and bitter with life and that is OK. I have been there too my friend. I am a traumatic brain injury survivor and I have lived with an invisible disability for over 40 years. Please read My Journey thus Far.
Through my process I have learned that more will be revealed with time.
Through my process I have benefited from valuable lessons. I share my experience strength and hope as a traumatic brain injury survivor throughout Second Chance to Live. Please review my Site Map. Because I remained in a coma for 3 weeks and was confined to a hospital bed I can share some good news with you. The dark clouds you are experiencing now will part and you will dream again. You will experience the dawn of a new day.
You will rise again. You will find an inner strength. You will find courage. You will experience hope. You will grow stronger with each new day. You will feel your feelings and you will heal. Although you may be experiencing sadness now, you will find a new freedom and a new happiness. Your courage will return and you will experience serenity. You will learn to thrive. You will own a new sense of meaning and purpose.
You will find yourself being empowered to fulfill your destiny. You will learn to trust the process, a loving God and yourself. You will come to believe that your circumstances are not meant to keep you down, but that they are gifts given to build you up. You will learn to live life on life’s terms. The eyes of your heart will open and you will seize the day. You will fulfill your destiny and you will be a light to your generation.
