Resolve, Focus and Commitment
Posted by Second Chance to Live on August 30, 2013
Hello and welcome back to Second Chance to Live my friend. I am happy to see that you decided to stop by to visit with me. Thank you. As you may have noticed I have not been writing and publishing articles for several weeks with any consistency. I have been preparing for an opportunity that I have been given to give a keynote presentation at a conference. I have also been away from my desk visiting family.
Recently my Mom sent a short movie to me that presented several quotes. Thank you Mom. I would like to share some of these quotes with you. Quotes empower my resolve to follow my passion, vision and mission in life as I feel led. May these quotes also empower your resolve to follow your passion, vision and mission in life as you feel led. The below quotes help me to keep my focus and my commitment to the task at hand.
“Time flies. It’s up to you to be the navigator.” Robert Orbren
“Learning is not compulsory…neither is survival.” W. Edwards Deming
“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” Theodore Roosevelt
“It’s not where you start – it’s where you finish that counts.” Zig Ziglar
“Regardless of your lot in life, you can build something beautiful on it.” Zig Ziglar
“Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole stair case.” Martin Luther King
“Decision is the spark that ignites action. Until a decision is made, nothing happens.” Wilfred A. Peterson
“What you get by achieving is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals.” Zig Ziglar
“He that can not forgive others breaks the bridge over which he, himself my pass.” Lord Herbert
“Repetition is the Mother of learning, the Father of action, which makes it the architect of accomplishment.” Zig Ziglar
